Everytime this song comes on, I stop dead and listen like the first time I heard it. It just tears right through me every time I hear it, which of course means I love it quite a bit. Simplistic country churning rhythm, guitar twinge, and deep-cutting, honeyed vocals.
I’m always stuck that Parsons died when he was only a year older than I am now, leaving behind the incredible legacy he did. Goddamn.
